DRAMA. Be respectful of others and keep the drama to a minimum. If you have an issue with another FC member please either discuss that with the individual in PMs or, if you feel the situation requires it, get in contact with one of our admins. Do not retaliate against this behavior publicly within the in-game or Discord chats as this doesn't correct the problem but rather makes you part of it. If you're found to the source of major repeated drama across several occasions your continued membership in the FC will be discussed among the admins.

DISCORD CHANNELS Use chats for their intended purposes. No spoilers outside of the designated spoiler chats, and keep the topic of discussion on-topic for the given Discord channel.

3RD PARTY TOOLS & SOFTWARE. Please keep in mind that third party tools and software (mods, parsers, reshade, launchers, syncshells etc.) are in a grey area as far as FF14's Terms of Service goes. We do not have any specific rules against their use as an FC, but want you to keep in mind that by admitting your use of them you put yourself at risk of being reported by others who may not share our indifference. In addition we would like to make it clear that we do not support any "official FC" mods/tools and are not responsible for anything that may happen to you should you choose to use ones marketed as such.

INACTIVITY. Members can be discharged for extended periods of inactivity based on seniority and circumstance, and permitted to rejoin at leisure. For members with the rank Student, you can be inactive in game for 30 days before kick. Rank Honor Roll is allowed 90 days before kick. And members with the ranks Class Reps & Student Council are allowed 180 days of inactivity before kick. Students who request the Excused Absence role (this is not a Discord role, it's only in-game) will be temporarily allowed 90 days of inactivity.

FC HOPPING. We have no issues with people leaving and rejoining the FC, however frequent abuse of this without cause may result in a ban. If you do attempt this without contacting one of our Admins and giving a valid reason (such as helping a friend) for your departure you will be temporarily barred from rejoining and possibly permanently barred for repeated offenses.

ADMIN WARNINGS. If you behave badly and break any of the aforementioned rules, depending on the severity of the offense, you may be given a warning or dismissal notice via private messages by one of the Admins (Headmasters & Professors ranks). If you are given a formal warning this goes onto your record regardless of whether or not you respond to or acknowledge the private message sent to you. The more warnings you accumulate, the more likely you are to be permanently dismissed from the FC.

NSFW. As far as Discord is concerned, we're perfectly okay with the posting of NSFW content within the 🔞nsfw channels. To gain access to these channels and review the rules please see 🔞nsfw-enable. Other discord channels can sometimes contain 18+ content, but we like to keep most of it regulated to the appropriate spaces. As for in game chat, since we don't have a NSFW channel to use, we ask that you please keep overly explicit content to a minimum.
